130/365: Black and White Real
First, I want to say how grateful I am to share my photos and my journey in such a public format and to get such encouraging comments. We're all learning, and it's not always smooth-going. Things in our lives also can take a toll. So today, when I was feeling a little discouraged with this photography journey, I came across a suggestion to put the camera on monochrome setting. So, with a new perspective I shot the following photos. These are SOOC. It's a bit liberating not to have to adjust anything. What you see is what you get. I may keep this up!

I really like your photos, they are for sure real.
I know exactly what you are saying. I had a very hard year so far and really though about giving up my project. Just because sometimes is so hard to concentrate... to feel inspired...to see things with different eyes... to feel ok with your own self.
But I keep going because this has been a beautiful journey, where I met so many good people that really care. I feel blessed because of that.
Anyway, I can write letter here "sorry" but all I want is to share a post that I read yesterday called "it is what it is" from Simplicity photography.
This is the journey of imperfections, just because it is a journey from The Heart.

I think I am going to try out the monochrome because I would just like to get what I get and not fuss over it. I've felt my ups and downs along the way and also feel discouraged at times. It's great to have the wonderful support of other bloggers to keep us going! I love this series!!
These are nice... I may have to try this too1
These are great! I may have to try this as well.
Oh my! I am trying my monochrome setting later, these are lovely!
What a great idea. Six of my 365 friends quit last week. I wish they would have tried something like that (maybe...it would have kept them going). Great photos. I like every single one of them!
Oh these are such sweet photos!
Love the last shot!!
Sometimes it helps to switch things up to stay inspired. I lost my momentum to and seems to be constantly shooting flowers. Your little girl's hair is so pretty, btw.
love this whole set! they look beautiful and so engaged in their books!
