329/365: What's for Dinner Now?

Natalie requested pizza!

328/365: Turkey Day

Canadians celebrate Thanksgiving in October. So, on our Thanksgiving Day, it's a regular day like any other around here: school, speech appointments, errands, etc. Thank goodness we have friends who invite us over for Thanksgiving dinner. I must say, their turkey was delish!

327/365: The Painting

Natalie worked on this painting on two different days. She'd come home from school and paint! We have one more step left in completing her masterpiece!

326/365: The Light from the Office

Sometimes I can sneak some editing at night in the office--when everything is dark except the light from the office. On this night, I discovered a photo of my son that I'd taken over the summer that I never edited. So here it is!

325/365: What's In a Name?

As I've gotten older I've started to care about skin products a little more. I'm always amused by the names they give some of these products: Keep the Peace, Prime Time, BareMinerals, Purity, etc. I even have one called Hope in a Bottle. Really!

324/365: On My Night Stand

I keep quite a few books on my night stand. But this one is currently at the top of the stack.

323/365: Weakness

I cannot resist Cheetos. There.  My secret is out. Best to keep them from making their way into my house! LOL

322/365: Bubble Magic

This is actually from a day I thought I had missed earlier in the month! Ooops.

321/365: FIrst Snow of the Season

It caught most of us by surprise. The flurries quickly covered quite a bit of the ground but it was not much of a snow fall. I'm glad--cause it seemed too early for this!

320/365: By the Light of the Street

Getting the camera to let me take this picture was a bit of a struggle (I'm blaming the brand!).

319/365: Hanging Out

Just another lovely and crisp fall afternoon! We were waiting on his sister so we hung out at the basketball court at her school. This is such an imperfect capture but I loved his smirk.

I can't seem to resist a sunset!

318/365: The Scruffy Dog

He is so over-due a grooming! I almost forgot to snap a picture today so this was taken with the iPhone.

317/365: The Earrings

These earrings have been my "go to" earrings for special events--including weddings.

316/365: Getting Back on Track

I missed a few days and my day numbering was off by one. So I'm posting a photo of the munchkin that I took the same day as the last post just to get back on track. Daddy loved this photo of her--she can sure turn on the charm when she wants!

315/365: Practice in Afternoon Light

She was a very willing model today. I was practicing using shadows (motivated by a breakout session on CM) and also trying to imitate film. I really like the effect and could not decide on which photo to post!

314/365: 11/11/11

Taken at 11 a.m.!

313/365: The Quick Snap

That's what it was--what can I say? One of those days!

312/365: More Splendor in the Leaves

Decided to make this one my first ever entry in I Heart Faces!

311/365: Moody Indulgence

Don't let her fool you--she was in a great mood. I was the one in a grainy and "filmish" kinda mood.

310/365: Little Feet, Big Shoes

I couldn't resist a quick snap of my little man trying on his daddy's sandals.

309/365: Mr. K

So, Mr. K was pretty cooperative. The doggy on his shirt looks a lot like his real dog!

308/365: Bouquet of Leaves

I let her do her thing on a beautiful fall afternoon, and she brought me a bouquet of leaves!

307/365: ...And so it happened.

I missed a day--and in the final stretches of this 365 project, too. I think I was too exhausted to come up with something--and I let sleep win. I'm okay with it. Before I even started this project, I gave myself permission to miss a day (or two). You have to! It's too much of a tall order otherwise. So I'm catching up with my posts (I was getting way behind!). I'm going to miss this project when it ends. It's been wonderful to follow my fellow bloggers throughout the year--I feel like I really know several of you thanks to all the peeks into your daily lives. And, of course, I am so grateful I got to meet one of you in "real life"! I think I've already decided that next year, I'll take on a project 52--just a once a week post for me!

This is a photo from the other day. A random guy walking his dog. But I think he must be a fellow photo enthusiast because as he passed me by he said: "taking advantage of the golden hour, eh." So it's a perfect post for today! Here's to all my fellow bloggers--may your journey be golden, too!

306/365: Her Mona Lisa Smile

She was enjoying a cartoon on TV. I snapped the picture but she did not look like she was enjoying the cartoon. So I asked her to smile. And, there you have it.

305/365: Fall Splendor

I spent about 17 years living in South Florida where we didn't experience fall.
This is a lovely season--who can resist the golden caramel splendors of the fall? It's kinda magical to me!

304/365: Rapunzel, Rapunzel!

...Let down your hair! Here she is in her junior kindergarten classroom on Halloween.

303/365: Raja, the Pillow

She nicknamed this pet pillow, Raja, after the tiger in Aladdin!

302/365: McQueen Slippers

My son had just gotten these super cute slippers from his cousin. I didn't get a decent photo of him wearing them yet--he looks so cute shuffling around the house in them!

301/365: Spotlight Flower

All I did to this one was bump the clarity. SOOC!

300/365: Butterfly Face

We attended the annual fall family fest at Natalie's school--and they had face painting, of course.

She still had a bit of ketchup on the corner of her mouth! LOL

299/365: Happy Water Babies

My friend Maria, an artist.
