We did not get a white Christmas this year in this part of Canada! But just a few days later, we got a little bit of the white stuff!

Daddy played photographer today at Natalie's Christmas Concert at school. She was in line on the way to the auditorium in this photo.

We bought this our first Christmas in Canada three years ago. It will be a wonderful reminder of our time up here when we move.

It's been a busy, busy time! After selling my 7D, I had to dust off the old Rebel XT. Here's a snap of the angel from the previous post (now that the tree is actually finished).

She managed to keep her hands clean--but the evidence of chocolate was still visible around her mouth!
This is from the last set of photos I took with the Canon 7D and the 70-300 lens. I sold them to fund my new camera!

It took us several days--okay, at least a week--to decorate the tree! Natalie got a little help from Daddy in placing the angel on top!

He's been very motivated by a series of Thomas the Train puzzles on the iPad. He was set on mastering them--and in just about a week he's completed all of them without any help!

I don't know what he was thinking as he paused for a moment while playing with balloons and waiting on his sister. He sure does look like he's up to something!

When there's so much to do and so little time. And worries get me down. I want to remember days like these--and be reminded that with Him all things are possible.
335/365: Portraits by Natalie
She first drew a picture of Rapunzel in an A-B pattern dress. Then she drew "Blue Jean" (we can't get her to say Eugene!). Then she went back and added Pascal! We're so proud of her writing out her name!

So I spent a few hours in the morning taking a friend's family photos. In the afternoon, it was our turn! I snapped this one while our photographer was taking our daughter's photo. 328/365: Turkey Day
Canadians celebrate Thanksgiving in October. So, on our Thanksgiving Day, it's a regular day like any other around here: school, speech appointments, errands, etc. Thank goodness we have friends who invite us over for Thanksgiving dinner. I must say, their turkey was delish!
327/365: The Painting
Natalie worked on this painting on two different days. She'd come home from school and paint! We have one more step left in completing her masterpiece!
326/365: The Light from the Office
Sometimes I can sneak some editing at night in the office--when everything is dark except the light from the office. On this night, I discovered a photo of my son that I'd taken over the summer that I never edited. So here it is!
325/365: What's In a Name?
As I've gotten older I've started to care about skin products a little more. I'm always amused by the names they give some of these products: Keep the Peace, Prime Time, BareMinerals, Purity, etc. I even have one called Hope in a Bottle. Really!
324/365: On My Night Stand
I keep quite a few books on my night stand. But this one is currently at the top of the stack.
323/365: Weakness
I cannot resist Cheetos. There. My secret is out. Best to keep them from making their way into my house! LOL
