52/365: Little Hands and Pencil Sharpening
Yesterday we let Natalie play with some colored pencils that came with a pencil sharpener. She insisted on learning how to sharpen pencils "all by myself." After a few tries, she did indeed sharpen one of her Valentine's Day pencils. The first few tries where I showed her how to do it were not easy for her--because as I later realized (in a mom's duh moment), I was showing her how to do it the left-handed way, and she is right-handed! So this morning, practically the first thing out of her mouth: "I want to sharpen stuff by myself!" And, since today's prompt for the Joy of Love workshop was to capture your loved one's hands in close-up detail, I snapped away.

i have to agree... gorgeous light!
What a sweet way to capture such an important time in her life. My DD is constantly writing and doodling which makes me appreciate how wonderful and exciting this "new" skill is for them. Love your colors and yummy light.
BTW, Train was awesome in concert and definitely worth seeing if you ever have the opportunity.
