65/365: Variations of a Still Life
First, I have got to say it's been a rough day around here. I've not been feeling too well (actually been feeling progressively worse) but at least one of the kids is doing better than last night. The weather here is up and down. First it warms up to 40-something degrees F, which melts all the snow again. Then it goes down to 20 and snows about two inches. When is spring getting here!?!? I actually got a bit excited when the sun came out today for a brief few hours. So here's what I captured: a colorful something. It's not quite a vase, well it might be but it's a squatty one! Maybe it's a big votive candle holder?!
First one is processed in PSE, second one only in Lightroom.

I like it, whatever it is. The LR edit is nice!
Thanks for all your recent words of encouragement; they mean a lot to me and help keep me motivated to stick with this project that seems overwhelming at times! If you need any other words of advice or encouragement on the sleep issue, let me know.
I find it interesting how computers and technology make it so easy for us to take photos and turn them into works of art, in such varied forms. Both edits are so different and yet so beautiful. It's hard to choose, but I think I like the LR edit the best.
i like it too! good for you to keep going.. hope you are feeling better soon!
Not sure what it is, but I like it...esp. the processing. :)
I like the texture of the first one. Very pretty.
Whatever it is, it's very pretty. I like both edits.
